Dr. Litweena Rajendran
Litweena Rajaendran, daughter of Mrs. Elizabeth Rajendran of Kayts East graduated MBBS (Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery) degree at the University of Colombo. She is the granddaughter of Late Mr. Selvarasa and Mrs. Santhanammah.

Irenious Columbus Samuel De Almeida graduated First Class Masters Degree of Chemical Engineering at the University of Manchester, United Kingdom. He is the son of Mrs. Hycinth Shiyamala and Dennis de Almeida and the grandson of Captain Joseph Ariyanayagam of Kayts East. The Convocation took place on the 8th of July 2019. International Youth Exchange Programme
The International Youth Exchange Programme organized in association with National Youth Services Council, Ministry of Youth Affairs, Government of Sri Lanka and Government of India, was held at Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Youth Development, Regional Centre, Chandigarh, from 12 to 14 of October 2018. Twenty five youth delegates from Sri Lanka, including Youth Parliament Members, Youth Workers, Young Professionals etc. were participated in this programme. Luxman Luxce of East Street, Kayts represented Jaffna District. He is the Member of Local Council at Kayts Pradeshiya Sabha. Luxman contested the Local Government Election as a TULF candidate and elected as the member of Kayts Local Council. He wan an old student of St. Anthony's College, Kayts and the great grandson of Alwin Bastiampillai who was a former member of Town Council, Kayts.
